Cherish Your Memories
Life is short, and not everyone has the opportunity to enjoy the entirety of it. This is something that we cannot change, but it’s something that we should all take notice to, as caring people. Look for those in need, and help them in the best way you can, even if it’s just being a friend.
Everything is meant to happen for some reason, and it will never seem that way when it happens. Lessons are learned, and memories are brought to the top, but the moments remembered must be cherished as they were. The spirit of any person is always present, whether alive or deceased, and we must live according to the lessons we’ve learned on behalf of their faults or tragedies.
To those of you who I am addressing, I’ve been very close to feeling your pain, as my father almost passed away due to cancer. As he fought through chemotherapy, he told me that there was not a moment in life to be regretted, and that everything must be comprehended as it happens. Sudden happiness is something to cherish, and prolonged sadness is a cry for new thoughts and life-changing decisions.
Lives were lost, but we can hold on to memories and share their lives with thousands of people who want to help and listen.
As I write this, I have no personal relationship to those who have been recently lost, but that does not mean that these lives were not important to me. Every individual life on this earth is worth our time and devotion… and I’ll hold that with me to the grave.
Take a moment, ponder the thought, and spend a lifetime devoting yourself to help others.
